Membership in the Open Road Driver's Plan gives drivers access to local attorneys and coverage of legal fees and bond services across the United States and Canada. Bonding Services

$10,000 - Police Bail Bond
For accident bond coverage the Open Road Driver's Plan will provide bond coverage of up to $10,000.
$1,000 - Appearance Bond
If you are charged with a traffic violation, the Open Road Driver's Plan will provide bond services up to $1,000 to cover your first appearance.

Personal Legal Fees

$1,000 - Moving Violations
You are entitled to legal fees assistance, win or lose, up to $1,000 per occurrence, including appeal.
$1,000 - Non-Moving Violations
You are entitled to legal fees assistance, win or lose, up to $1,000 per year, for your defense against citations including alleged overweight, over-width, over-height, over-length or for improper permit, license tag, equipment or logbook violation, including appeal.
$5,000 - Manslaughter, Negligent Homicide, Vehicular Homicide
You can receive legal assistance, win or lose, up to $3,500 in your defense against manslaughter, negligent homicide or vehicular homicide involving a traffic accident, including appeal, if any.
$500 - Vehicle Damages
If your vehicle is damaged in an accident and hiring an attorney becomes necessary to recover the cost of repair, the Open Road Driver's Plan will reimburse you or pay your attorney directly, win or lose, for services up to $500 per occurrence (unless you hire an attorney on a contingent-fee basis).

Many carriers realize the benefit of a driver's legal plan, not only to the driver, but also to the carrier as a recruiting and retention tool. As a TruckersB2B Member, your drivers are eligible to purchase the Open Road Driver's Plan at the discounted rate of $34.50 per month (versus the standard rate of $38.95.month).

Drivers can pay for their own membership directly via credit card, check, etc., or carriers can offer it to their drivers through payroll deductions and receive a $2 rebate per driver, per month!
